PACES Geoscience and Computer Science Research

One primary mission of PACES is to conduct basic geoscience research in support of NASA's Earth Science Enterprise. We undertake projects at many scales and in many locations but we have often leveraged NASA support to participate in large cooperative projects in which one of our main roles is to help lead the integrated analysis. Some of these projects include:
Computer Science Research at UTEP

CD-ROM: Continental Dynamics - Rocky Mountain Project

SBE Nuggets - Geophysicists build on rock-solid successes in Central Europe

ALP 2002 - Seismic Exploration of the Alpine Lithosphere

Celebration 2000 - Central European Lithospheric Experiment Based on Refraction

Polonaise 1997

Igneous Petrology of the Spanish Peaks Region

EAGLE - Ethiopia-Afar Geoscientific Lithospheric Experiment
